Dear Community,
Together, we did it!
We are thrilled to announce that the Thiensville Mequon Pickleball Association (TMPA) has reached our $75,000 fundraising goal by the June 30, 2025 deadline, to help build eight dedicated outdoor pickleball courts at Range Line Community Center in Mequon. To date, we’ve raised over $81,000, thanks to generous contributions from more than 200 individuals, businesses, and clubs. Special thanks for the $10,000 grant from the Mequon-Thiensville Community Foundation (MTCF).Combined with the $300,000 allocated by the Mequon-Thiensville Recreation Department from its fund balance and the formal approval of the final project by the Mequon-Thiensville School Board, these funds will enable construction to begin later this year.Additional funds raised beyond our goal will be used for seating, paddle queues, and other amenities to enhance the courts. Depending on the final total raised, some funds may also support other outdoor improvements at Range Line Community Center, such as a new playground. This is a big win for our entire community! Range Line Community Center will soon be the premier public pickleball facility for players of all ages and skill levels, bringing all the health and social benefits of the sport right here to Mequon.Donations can still be made online at: MCTFGives.org through the end of 2025. Contributions over $1,000 will be recognized on a sponsorship board near the courts. Learn more at www.mtsd.k12.wi.us/pickleballOr make your check payable to:
